And other things. Pies, and desserts that don't really fit..

  • Amish Shoofly Pie: I made this the night after I put it up on the site. Not too bad, and I'd bet it'd be good with vanilla ice cream!
  • Apple Cheesecake: Perfect for fall! Lots of cinnamon apple goodness, surprisingly easy recipe.
  • Berry Pie: Generic berry pie recipe that works well as a two-crust pie with most berries.
  • Champagne Cake: One of the cakes I baked for my wedding.
  • Chocolate Chai Bundt Cake: Oh lordy. I love Chai Nog, and I love chocolate bundt cake. This has enough calories to kill a moose. Heaven.
  • Chocolate Orange Zucchini Cake: Super yummy moist and fluffy cake! Think of it as eating your veggies.
  • Chocolate Zucchini Cake: Sounds weird, but tastes great. Mostly the zucchini just adds moistness.
  • Fruit Clafouti: A custardy baked dish using peaches, apricots, cherries or plums.
  • Gooseberry Pie: Weird little green sour berries, best eaten as pie or jam.
  • Handfasting Cake: Like a wedding cake only more rustic. Um. Yeah.
  • Holiday Pudding: A traditional English Christmas dessert. I'm determined to make one.
  • Irish Creme Cake: Lightly chocolate, slightly boozy snack cake.
  • Lemon Bundt Cake: What's better than teeny little lemony rings? Not much!
  • Medieval Groom's Cake: I don't know if this is historically accurate. Didn't care at the time.
  • Mexican Chocolate Cake: I don't know why it's Mexican, there are no peppers in it.
  • Mincemeat Pies: I don't know why I always think these sound so cool. Very tasty, too.
  • Pecan Pie: A traditional southern calorie bomb.
  • Real Pumpkin Pie: I consider pie made with canned pumpkin just as "real" as this, but it's getting rare to find a recipe for a pie made with real live pumpkins. And while it's baking, check out my short story...
  • Pumpkin Applesauce Cake: A moist snacky cake, perfect for a light fall dessert.
  • Pumpkin Cake: Another variation of pumpkin cake, with more oil instead of applesauce.
  • Rhubarb Pie: Pie made with red celery stuff. Really, really good, actually. Tart and sweet!
  • Rhubarb Upside-Down Cake: Just in case you have an overabundance of rhubarb, I suppose.
  • Yummy Yule Log: Looking for a way to push your cholesterol into the "immediately lethal" zone? Try a piece of this!
