Milk Punch

For Christmas one year, Jina gave me an entire half gallon jug of rum. I love rum, but holy moly. That's a lotta booze. So I asked around for ideas on what to do with it...

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups brandy
  • 1 1/4 cups bourbon
  • 1 1/4 cups rum
  • 3 quarts half and half
  • 4 Tbls pure vanilla
  • 3/4 to 1 cup simple syrup
  • Nutmeg

I'm Not As Think As You Drunk I Am

To make simple syrup, take equal parts sugar and water, simmer together until the sugar dissolves. Cool.

Combine all ingredients in a gallon-sized container, and move a bunch of junk out of the way in your freezer.

Pour the booze, half and half, and vanilla in the container, sweeten to taste with the syrup. (You'll have to taste a lot. Better make a double batch.)

Cover, and freeze until slightly frozen. Chop that puppy up with an ice pick, big fork, whatever. Serve.

Notes and Hints and Stuff

  • Be Sensible
Don't drink and drive. And don't vomit on your friend's carpet if you've been eating froot loops and raisins with your punch.
