First of all...the site name. It’s Beansidhe. Split that up into Bean Sidhe. It’s Gaelic, or Irish if you’re in Ireland.
It means, roughly, Woman of The Fairies. It’s pronounced “banshee”. Get it now?
Many moons ago, in the deep dark mists of time, I was browbeaten into making a website. My friend Llyra did most of the graphics and the original site design, and from there I built a reasonable site.
Then Real Life™ intervened. After saying for years I needed to redesign the site, I am finally getting around to doing so. The old one is SO old and out of date, I am simply giving up and starting from scratch. There are elements of the old site, and new things. Mostly it’s a repository for reference bits for myself and a place to point people for recipes, my favorite links, and photographs.
